San Jose, California - based photographer and cyanotype artist creating original photographic prints.

Flowers have always captivated me with their fleeting beauty. I love watching them unfurl from tightly held buds into full bloom, only to slowly fade into a different kind of beauty. It feels fitting that both the flowers and the cyanotype process depend on sunlight and water. Through my photographs, I strive to preserve something of that transformation, capturing a moment that was never meant to last.

Cyanotype is an early photographic process that uses sunlight and water to create images in a rich Prussian blue. I love how this process transforms images into something that feels both familiar and otherworldly. Sometimes I tone my finished prints with tea, shifting the blue into warm, earthy tones and adding another layer of personality.

‍Antique shops have always felt a little magical to me—filled with objects carrying traces of lives, loves, and stories that I can only imagine.

Nothing, however, captures my imagination quite like the vintage mannequin heads, remaining sentinel in their shops. I think of them as the “shop girls” of another era: ever‑dutiful, fashionably dressed, and quietly watching the world go by. They’ve witnessed changing styles, generations of shoppers, and countless stories. If only they could talk.

Through my photographs, I hope to capture the spirit these shop girls still possess. Their scratches and dents only add to their charm. They may have aged, but to me they remain timeless beauties—still faithfully at work.

Every now and then, I spot something magical in a museum: a visitor whose clothing, expression, or presence seems to echo the artwork they are viewing — a museum matchup, if you will. These moments are rare, but when I see one, I can’t resist capturing it. Sometimes I think that the museum has quietly arranged the perfect pairing just for me — a fleeting, wonderfully quirky conversation between art and observer.

I’m always looking for the unexpected: a curious face, an unusual object, or a moment that makes me stop and look twice. Observations is a collection of photographs inspired by what I see around me—moments of beauty, character, and, sometimes, just plain weird.

Capturing light has always felt like a magic trick to me. As a photographer, I am very observant of light and how it moves. For a few years now, I have been enthralled with creating bird feeders made of up-cycled colored glass and crystal pieces. I am drawn to glass that is unique with its shape, cut, and color. These pieces transform with light throughout the day, offering a fleeting magic show within the landscape. They also make fancy rest stops for our feathered friends; and the occasional squirrel.
